I have added another image of the mini clipboards to show the contrast of the other post below. I made one of the black and red one for a friend at the ladies Bible study group i am part of. I really like the combination of the colors. I like to make these types of crafts as well. There really haven't been any craft shows here in mid Florida this season.

This little note pad on the right started out from a dollar tree item and I took some basic thin chip board, you can use ceral box and wrapped it with a piece of card stock. I chose a school theme, my son will be sending this off to a teacher friend. After the top layer was placed on I put on a second piece to the back side to cover the rough edges. The chipboard and the cardstock front layer is larger than the paper stack. They will wrap over the back then it gets covered by a second layer to neaten up the item. If this makes since!
Ok... Now the frog item is just a 4x6 plexi frame turned upside and I only attached a small sticky note to it. I am always dropping or loosing mine. two of my kids do K-12 virtual school and they write down the time they are in class on them , so we use a lot of them also. So my dd said she wanted to buy me a new one and I said she could help make one for me. I gave her a dollar. She giggled and said what could she do with that? I pointed to the plexi frame and said lets get this! We went home and I showed her what a few of you wonderful crafters have done with yours. She is is working on hers. She is 14 years old. Bless her heart! <3

My husband is nuts about his dog! I found a word "I<3 DOG" shaped book in a scrapbook store i visited while scraphopping with some frinds a while ago, I got some of the load of the great paper pads I own out from DCWD the one with DOGS and CATS., I have 2 cats and a dog, anywyas, found some cute stickers and got started to work it took about 1 1/2 hours I was done. I put on ribbons that had bones, paw prints and polka dots, solids. Some of the pages have pockets and some pull out to give extra places to put those extra spots for pics. I put on a bubble plastic things in the middle of the book, it is a keepsake it allows, me to always have one of the license tags he wears.

School Folder Mini Organizer

I started this from a school pocket folder without the prongs, some paper from Michaels, and Biglots and K and Company stickers that had a Manger on it. My neighber Susan is a very wonderful teacher who teaches the Ladies Bible study on Tueday Night. So I thought she could use this to hold note a of acouple pads some business cards, book marks and pictures of our group or other important items. Thanks for looking. I was digging through my paper stacks and came across my K and Co. and a pack that Tracy and Spencer from Craft Junkie Too sent me a couple years ago, from a Boo Blog party she had, Wow and it was a fun PARTY!!! YOU had to be there, and I had dug up a couple of sheets of My Minds Eyes and thought how cute and got to work. I needed some special stickers once it was finished with the paper part, so I was off to Michaels. I found some K and Co. They were (40% off last day for that deal on sale, yeah:) I have a coupon I wanted a paper pack I had my eye one! A new Christmas one that was $19.99. So I found some spider stickers and some cute pumpkins and was back to the den to complet the book. Hope you have a safe night! I have other pictures and was trying to load them but the computer wasn't in the mood sorry, Thanks for looking...

Family Frame

This picture frame began as a simple thick wood board frame you purchase from Michaels or Jo-Anns, paint it in Apple Barrel acyrlic paint then cover with a piece of your choice of scrapbook paper (heavy) weight works best:) then a twig from the yard you like best, slow heat it in the oven to cook off any pest! then embellish! This idea came from a scrabook store downtown St.Pete, Fl. I want to make a copy of it to give to a friend. I am sure it can be made for a variety of holidays as well, give it a try!

I am sorry I have been away, I have been at home with my two younger kids this school year doing the Virtule School K-12. It is a full time job to them. However we have been able to take a few small field trips this school year that they would not have taken in the regular community scools due to the budget cuts that they have. I know times are tough all over but I have made a commitment to my kids and we make plans ahead of time for what is most important lessons and we go and explore when we can, we were able to build our recent trip to see the space Shuttle Endevor at Kennedy Space Center, to add on to their math lesson and Science, and History. Then after making the trip we were stuck in traffic for a few hours but the reward following all of that was we had a great time exchanging Disney Pins. My kids and I collect them. We love the art work. I have a few extra duplicates so we brought them up to trade in Downtown Disney Orlando. Thanks for reading and hope to have a couple new projects real soon. Ginny the Bearcub

I had a special visit from Trish to collect a package for little Madison

On Sunday October 31, My daughters Cheerleading team was doing a car wash to raise money to go to Orlando for Cheer Regional, they placed 2nd in cheer off at Germain Arena, My Daughter Gabby and I was able to meet Trish form " TeqniquesbyTrish". After seeing her post to collect cards and items to help the family for little Madison that Trish's PO Box is near where I live, so I asked her if I could meet her to pick up
the items that my kids and I put together for Madison. My dear daughters purchased two little beanie type dogs for Madison and when I told this to Trish this in an email she asked me if they were real ones, LOL, we laughed about that! My She was so sweet to meet me and came with her precious Schnoodle Gem! So cute:) My heart goes out to her for doing this for Madison. Thank you Trish I enjoyed meeting you, please tell your husband Thank you for all he does too!

This is a tags type album made from #6 Coin Envelopes and File folders & my Cricut:)The office stores sell them in boxes of 250 or 500 count in # 1, 3, or 6 they range in price from $9.99- $21.99. They are not sold in smaller pkgs. You can get lots of these made if those of you who do craft fairs and need an idea or need teacher gifts or for a baby shower.

I made this one for my Sister-in-Law Teresa, my kids call her T.T. I put some computer printed tags on the tags and one I particularly love is " Shake our Family Tree and Watch the Nuts Fall. Cricut tree cut it from Paperdolls, and acorns from Create a Critter. I put family member's initials on the acorns.

Appriciation cards for my husband's bosses

My husband likes the cards styles I have been making and asked me to make a couple of cards for his wonderful directors at his place of employment. He left the colors up to me, but asked that I put some teal in somewhere. The ribbon on the cards was made from the " & " sign on George and Basic Shapes. They have a very special meaning for the ladies do there, and all I can say them is thanks for all you do. The smaller ribbons were cut at 1 inch and 3 inch for the largest teal one. I learned to make the Z style of card from Dorcas at "4craftyangels". She has a great variety of cards and videos, and other ideas. There is a button to connect you to her blog in my side list. This clock has more of the real images of what Sponge Bob is about. My husbands favorite show. I really had a hard time with all the small details of this one. I'm sure when they are larger they are easier. I made this clock for his home office space. Thanks for looking, have a great day.

Altered Walmart Clock for my Husband our 18th Aniversary gift

My husband loves Sponge Bob and I thought I could make him this unique one of a kind gift. Anyways, We have it hanging in the dinning room. I had to put the intricate pieces on with tweezers. Some of them were cut at 1 inch and some at 3/4. It was all worth it. The clock was only around $ 4.00 and easily came apart I cut the numbers out from George, I wish I had used some white card stock so they showed up but I was out at the moment and was needing to get the project finished because he was on his way home and I needed to go to DD cheerleading game.

I was looking for some sort of wipe-able message board to put each family member's helper token on. I had gone to Staples and Office Max, & Depots and was discouraged by the expense of the laminated ones, they were $ 20.00, for a 18x24" and $30.00 for a 24x36". So my daughter and I continued to walk around the Staples office store and saw the small wipe on boards and thought and I thought back to the days when I was a teacher's aide, we had the kids use them to practice letter formation. They were $ 3.00 each and on sale. So I got 4. I left there very satisfied:) We drove to Wal-mart and headed to the stationary section to purchase the round and strip sticky back magnets to put on the back, and put it through the laminater. I set the Cricut to cut the pieces at 2". The tin containers are from the prima flower containers I found at Tuesday Morning but Michaels sells them in the party planning area separately.

This card is the " Z" fold card. I was over on http://4CraftyAngels.blogspot.com * and Dorcas has some really great cards. I saw one she made that had a turkey on it and I simply printed the instructions and made mine into the little boy, dog 1, shadow, cut at 3 inches from A Child's year. It is on page 62 in the hand book. I cut it out 2 times and layered it with foam tape to give it dimension and added the word "Thanks" from Wild Card, this was cut at 3 1/2 inches. Hi Everyone, I was blog hopping and was wanting to needing to make some cards for a Aunt-in-law. Her Birthday is the day before Halloween. For this card I used K & Co. Spook*tacular paper and AC primaries cardstock for my base and some of my small mats. I used Paperdoll Dressups for the Haunted House and Moon and Stretch Your Imagination for the Pumpkin, using all the layers. I was on Cardztv.blogspot this great technique for this card. I was so surprised to find in Micheals the new ATG

I was really wanting to give this Scotch ATG, I had tried the Pro glide other thing and the refill would break off after 2 feet or so was used. So I put those to rest. I see everyone saying how much they love the original ATG's so I would like to also like to give it a try and was hoping that my local Michaels would get them soon. I was in the store 2or 3 weeks ago and the sales clerk I know very well said she didn't know what it was so I showed her a picture of it from my I-phone and she said she didn't have any. I went on my way. I stopped at a different Michaels and a Jo-Ann's they too didn't have it. So I thought now that the kiddos are back in school, time for me to do something for my self today, and low and behold, my favorite and local Michaels just unloaded their truck while I was shopping, there were 2 OMG! I grabbed them both! The ladies working saw me take the 2 and said to me there are more in back and I smiled and said I think this made my day :) I had my coupons also. One for 40% plus a bonus 10%, & the other a 40%.
I was able to get them separately because their were no other customers in the store!

My 13 year old daughter is a cheerleader for our local community Pop Warner Team. Her squad is the "Renegades", but the whole entire team together is "Mustangs". We had decided to make this our contribution to the squad, to help make signs for the games, fund raising events, and for the competitions so the teams will get noticed for the neat appearance and AWESOME performances everyone of the kids give.

I was digging through a box of pictures the other day and found this picture of my son who is now 11 year old, and remembered I had some paper that matched so I went into my scrap room and put this page together. I noticed the date on the picture was wrong only because every time I have to change the batteries in the camera it makes me reset the date or I can choose cancel and I chose cancel, so it put this date on it. I used the Pooh Font cartridge for the words and pooh and friends for the honey pot. I got the Pooh paper from Scrapbooking Goodies in Cape Coral Florida.

I found the word Waterdog as one word and cut it out at 2 inches ( it is one of those that will not allow the cut be larger than a certain size. but this was perfect for the 12x12. I then cut several Paw prints.
That darn camera set the date again for itself time and calendar. Guess it is to get another camera that will keep it's own memory. Oh well! I just love this Dog!

My daughter will be turning 15 this year and I wanted to make her a special page layout. I used the Pooh font cartridge for Celebrate and 15. I asked her to choose the colors and she said what she liked and we left the spot for where the photo is to placed because we weren't sure if it was going to be a 5x7 or 4x6 or the direction until it is printed or if we decide to add multiple pictures.

Ok you are wondering where are the picture mats! I did not forget them. I am waiting to take the pictures and see how to position them for this layout. I just received the cartridge last week after some of my friends were over for our weekly scrap get together. There are four of us in our group now and we change houses from time to time depending on appointments or whatever. So I wanted to pre-make this page layout and this is what I came up with. I used Doodle charms for the Basket and Easter 2010 for the rest. The paper was from DCWV, Spring Shower Collection.

I was watching a video from my friend Mary over at Cardztv the other day about how she turned a toilet paper tube into a mini album. I love how she showed the viewers the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge how to make some pull out tags to display some tags. Yoy can also use TBB&M if you have it. I can only say this to you hop over there and you'll see why she is amazing. She is so talented. I wanted to give it a try. And here is what I made. My book is about our family dog, Wishbone. she is very special his adoption anniversary is coming up on April 2. My husband thought I was playing a joke the year I told him I announced i was getting him a dog, but it wasn't a joke. thanks, so very much Mary for teaching us the lesson of this album it really is a fun one to make.

Holiday countdown "Christmas in The Forest" Animals Paper from Craft Junkie Too Boo Log Party

This post is to to again thank my friend Tracy aka Craft Junkie Too! I Love, Love, Love my Paper Pack you sent me, and so do my friends who come to scrap with me we share our stuff and social and I showed them this awesome pack and they went nuts over it! *Here is what I did to make my project... For this project... You can get 2 Holiday Countdowns from this 1 36 count container. I found a container of 36 mini favor in the bridal section at Michael's priced at $ 19.99. I of course had a coupon for 50% off. It cost me $10.00 for this pkg. Not so bad for the start of these two projects. The box bases and lid rings are metal and lid is acrylic which just pops out (you need to keep this part) I used this as a guide to see which punch fit the best I used a circle punch over the top of the selected pieces of paper (this is the hard part deciding which paper to use) because most paper out there is so cute these days, anyways, and the "plastic" like acrylic will protect the paper after it is put together. I also found that it was easier to run the punched paper through a 2.5 Xyron than to use red terrifically tacky tape or a glue stick or any other product out there. The Xyron does not show through the acrylic! The next thing you need is to make 2 of the countdowns is in the floral section is a Floral ring it is plain paper brown and cost $ 2.99- 3.50 depend where you get it!, it was just large enough to put the 12x12 paper over it! I painted mine white with Apple barrel craft paint on both sides. you can put some bows on the top of the containers ( use thin ribbon) to match, a picture hanger hook place on back. A few 12x12 different scrapbook papers sheet of scrapbook paper of choice, mine I received from TRACY at craftjunkietoo.blogspot.com from her Boo Log Party on Halloween day. That was a awesome party. These are 3 3/4 in circles. * You could use chip board purchased from a print shop too. I did get some the other day for $ 7.00 for a stack of 100 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 not bad.* I Found the Gingerbread stickers in a dollar bin at Jo Ann's and stamped a white circle blue and green. The other coasters are green and red and I just inked the edges to cover the raw edge up. It really came out cute. Everyone I know loves these little books and wants me to show them how to put them together. They are so simple.

Tracy from the Craft Junkie Too had a Boo Log Party on Halloween. There were all sorts of paper crafting idea videos. I especially love her paperbag scrap purse she made. She also had a special guest appearance by "Whitchy". There were lots of great items given away, my prize was the a big paper multi holiday pack from the Debbie Mumm collection. I purchased the pail, and stickers, and borrowed the large stamp (free) and stamped it multiple times on 1 sheet of 12x12 Orange Bazzil paper at my friend Mitzi's shop "Treasured Memories" in Englewood, FL. I went home with a large sack of new goodies to put together. I cut a 5" spider web from * Wild Card* Cricut Cartridge, and added Ribbons. The pail can be purchase at most craft stores for about $ 3.00 for a small one to $5.00 for large size, or check with your favorite small retailer in your area.

For these cards I used 2 sheets of white cardstock, 1 sheet of blue bazzil paper with a sheen, a couple of winter stamps 1 has a christmas tree the other pine needle& cones, white colorbox ink, and white embossing powder and heat gun, some left over ribbon. * Mary 's cards are so beautiful and such and she's such an inspiration to us to try a new technique and products, Please visit her blog for great instructional Cricut videos and make some today.

Hi everyone, I have set out to help you find your way around to some great scrapbooking, card and stamping links. You will see I am here upon the request of a few friends. I acquired my very first cricut in early 2006 just following the new year. It was a left over from holiday season at Walmart. I called my dear hubby with excitement to tell him the news and purchased it then. I have loved it since. I actually have a baby bug and a expression.I love the cuttle bug too. I also make dust covers for them in my spare time to give to my friends and family members who have machines. My very friendly neighbor Susan, from time to time borrows my Cuttlebug and all the embossing folders. She loves to make a personal card for everyone she meets. She has told me she no longer has to go spend money and time picking out those at a store. I will post pictures of them in the near future.
