Family Frame

This picture frame began as a simple thick wood board frame you purchase from Michaels or Jo-Anns, paint it in Apple Barrel acyrlic paint then cover with a piece of your choice of scrapbook paper (heavy) weight works best:) then a twig from the yard you like best, slow heat it in the oven to cook off any pest! then embellish! This idea came from a scrabook store downtown St.Pete, Fl. I want to make a copy of it to give to a friend. I am sure it can be made for a variety of holidays as well, give it a try!

Restaurant Coasters " Baby Boy Album" I taught my neighbor Susan how to make them

I love it when my neighbor Susan comes to play. I showed Susan my Halloween coaster book and she instantly loved the concept. On Friday she went hunting to some of our local restaurants for some coasters. We were able to get together Thursday to put it together in the morning then we had lunch at Panera Bread. On Friday morning I took cubs to schools then was out at another one of my friends, Sharon's home taking a lesson of how to manuver the DS. When I came home from my lesson I found a sack with coasters and little bows from Susan on my front door as a(Thank you) for showing her how to make the books. We had a blast. She showed her husband this book and he had asked her if she'd been to a "Baby Boutique", because of the attention to detail. He was quite impressed and asked her to make another one, so she's making a girl one tonight. I'll post pics another night.

A globe of friends

A world of great visitors, thanks for signing my book!
