Cartridge storage using from My Kitchen and Tag,bags, and Boxes

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cut at 3 1/2" for the little boxes. If found these boxes on row 5 and across 7. I scored the boxes first then cut them down to fit to the depth of my box I was using. ( You should have the cartridge and book with you when you purchase the box this way you'll be sure to have the right size fit for your cartridges and boxes.) Now for the Tabs I am using the "From My Kitchen" Cartridge, There is a separate function key for the tabs, I pressed it, in the box I am putting my books and overlays in I found that 3 1/2 inches works for me as well length, but I will have to adjust the height to make it a bit shorter. I will match boxes I put the cartridges in to box with the books and overlays the tabs. I have a video coming soon after my dear sweet hubby come home from work and uploads it for me it will help explain it in more detail.

Gabby's Valentine's Treat for her Friends and Teachers

Gabby and her daddy were out this past weekend they went to looking for things to put together for her Valentine's Treats at AC Moore and Walmart she came home with a few 1 1/2 inch clay pots and some styrofoam balls, and a bag of tootsi pops. I asked her if she had something planned for it and she said she needed some stiff paper, good craft paint, brushes, ribbon and to look through our collection of shape Cricut Cartridges that had flowers on them. So this is what she decided on. I thought it was a cute idea. My daughter loves to garden and thought how cute it would be to bring her friends these instead of those little cards they used to trade when they were in grade school,*that is what she told me)*and asked if she could have one for her teachers too. She needs to make about 18.
*I'm not sure if this idea came from any one else, My daughter nor I would not want to not take the credit here for this idea if so. My daughter did go out to find stuff on her own with her dad help and spent part of the day making them and I took the picture to post here on this blog.

Toilet Paper Tube Tag Album of Wishbone

I was watching a video from my friend Mary over at Cardztv the other day about how she turned a toilet paper tube into a mini album. I love how she showed the viewers the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge how to make some pull out tags to display some tags. Yoy can also use TBB&M if you have it. I can only say this to you hop over there and you'll see why she is amazing. She is so talented. I wanted to give it a try. And here is what I made. My book is about our family dog, Wishbone. she is very special his adoption anniversary is coming up on April 2. My husband thought I was playing a joke the year I told him I announced i was getting him a dog, but it wasn't a joke. thanks, so very much Mary for teaching us the lesson of this album it really is a fun one to make.

Valentine Teacup Invite for Bible Study Ladies group

This idea was originally from Mary over at http://CardzTv.blogspot.com
she is so creative. I sent her an email asking her if I could borrow the idea because my neighbor was helping one of our ladies who is 85 years young. She is having dessert and tea for all 35 of the ladies of our Bible study group. Mary said yes. For our Teacups we used the Cricut, A Child's Year, Cuttlebug, embossing folders, some inks, pearls, and ribbons. Thanks so much Mary for sharing.

Holiday countdown "Christmas in The Forest" Animals Paper from Craft Junkie Too Boo Log Party

This post is to to again thank my friend Tracy aka Craft Junkie Too! I Love, Love, Love my Paper Pack you sent me, and so do my friends who come to scrap with me we share our stuff and social and I showed them this awesome pack and they went nuts over it! *Here is what I did to make my project... For this project... You can get 2 Holiday Countdowns from this 1 36 count container. I found a container of 36 mini favor in the bridal section at Michael's priced at $ 19.99. I of course had a coupon for 50% off. It cost me $10.00 for this pkg. Not so bad for the start of these two projects. The box bases and lid rings are metal and lid is acrylic which just pops out (you need to keep this part) I used this as a guide to see which punch fit the best I used a circle punch over the top of the selected pieces of paper (this is the hard part deciding which paper to use) because most paper out there is so cute these days, anyways, and the "plastic" like acrylic will protect the paper after it is put together. I also found that it was easier to run the punched paper through a 2.5 Xyron than to use red terrifically tacky tape or a glue stick or any other product out there. The Xyron does not show through the acrylic! The next thing you need is to make 2 of the countdowns is in the floral section is a Floral ring it is plain paper brown and cost $ 2.99- 3.50 depend where you get it!, it was just large enough to put the 12x12 paper over it! I painted mine white with Apple barrel craft paint on both sides. you can put some bows on the top of the containers ( use thin ribbon) to match, a picture hanger hook place on back. A few 12x12 different scrapbook papers sheet of scrapbook paper of choice, mine I received from TRACY at craftjunkietoo.blogspot.com from her Boo Log Party on Halloween day. That was a awesome party. Hi Tracy!

A sad day for me! My Gypsy has to be returned because she is ill, I do not have 1 in the mean time!

I had to send my Gypsy to Provo Craft first. In the mean time I do not have one. I wonder if it gets lost or stolen ,etc..come on right, I'm with out until possibly after New Years. Anyways, the nice representative Karen, that I spoke to said after they received the one I purchased from HSN would be given an even exchange for another one. Yes I agree that's fair, I also hope that this one warranty will now begin over with the new ship out date instead of the old one's, how ever if down the road should I have some problems with it and it need to go back who would cover the warranty? I will be calling Provo Craft Next week to give them the tracking numbers Fed Ex gave me. The next question I asked was about the 19 carts I had loaded she told me they would transfer the serial numbers into my new one! Ok! I just hope it will not get sick like the other one did, some of them were not linking and cutting like they were supposed too. If any of you who have any had success can send me some tips I sure would appreciate them. I was getting confused! so I called to see why it was doing these and they asked me to send it in for a trade and I said I wanted to give it another try but next time I had a issue i would request a refund and they agreed.

Note pads made from inexpensive print shop paper pads, & chip board, binder clips, scrap paper, and buttons, and brads

I was at Treasured Memories for Cards and Coffee last Thursaday and ran into a friend of mine Vickie, while the kids were I went to my class and when I arrived I found my friend Vickie there. My daughter Gabby and Vickie;s son Austin have been school friends have always been in the same classes in the elementary grades and now that they are in 7th grade at the same school, but this year they are on different teams but they are still friends. Vickie was looking for a few ideas for holiday gifts for Austin to make for relatives as I was for my kids and she mentioned that the kids had texted to get together to do crafts of some kind and this is what we decided they should make. Vickie and Austin came with the note pads from a print shop near the LSS and her scrap paper and we had ribbon, brads, the chipboard, clips and we shared our supplies and had a great time. We are going to try and get to gether more often to do other things we learn from other classes we've been to. I showed it to my next door neighbor Susan and she would like to get together to make 30 for the ladies for our Bible study group she teaches.

coaster holiday brag book from Olive Garden

These are 3 3/4 in circles. * You could use chip board purchased from a print shop too. I did get some the other day for $ 7.00 for a stack of 100 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 not bad.* I Found the Gingerbread stickers in a dollar bin at Jo Ann's and stamped a white circle blue and green. The other coasters are green and red and I just inked the edges to cover the raw edge up. It really came out cute. Everyone I know loves these little books and wants me to show them how to put them together. They are so simple.

Coffee and Cards Thursday at Treasured Memories, Englewood, Florida, Come for the fun of it!

A simple Christmas tree made from scrap paper, round punches, and a star punch

Treasure Memories Thursdays Coffee and Cards Class

Here are two holiday cards I made at Treasure Memories. The reindeer card was made from a two piece Sizzix die cut set and the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug Embossing folder. "Coffee and Cards is held every Thursday (unless a holiday should fall on it)" All the ladies who came loved this little guy. The gift package was the next popular card. I am off to make some of the gift package ones from some of the paper I received from Tracy at "The Craft Junkie Too". Thanks again Tracy... Love the paper!

Restaurant Coasters " Baby Boy Album" I taught my neighbor Susan how to make them

I love it when my neighbor Susan comes to play. I showed Susan my Halloween coaster book and she instantly loved the concept. On Friday she went hunting to some of our local restaurants for some coasters. We were able to get together Thursday to put it together in the morning then we had lunch at Panera Bread. On Friday morning I took cubs to schools then was out at another one of my friends, Sharon's home taking a lesson of how to manuver the DS. When I came home from my lesson I found a sack with coasters and little bows from Susan on my front door as a(Thank you) for showing her how to make the books. We had a blast. She showed her husband this book and he had asked her if she'd been to a "Baby Boutique", because of the attention to detail. He was quite impressed and asked her to make another one, so she's making a girl one tonight. I'll post pics another night.
