Note pads made from inexpensive print shop paper pads, & chip board, binder clips, scrap paper, and buttons, and brads

I was at Treasured Memories for Cards and Coffee last Thursaday and ran into a friend of mine Vickie, while the kids were in school we play. My daughter Gabby her son Austin have been school friends in were always in the same classes in the elementary grades and now that they both older are in 7th grade at the same school, this year they are on different teams but they are still friends. Vickie was looking for a few ideas for holiday gifts for Austin to make for relatives as I was for my kids and she mentioned that the kids had texted to get together to do crafts of some kind and this is what we decided they should make. Vickie and Austin came with the note pads from a print shop near the LSS and her scrap paper and we had ribbon, brads, the chipboard, clips and we shared our supplies and had a great time. We are going to try and get to gether more often to do other things we learn from other classes we've been to.

Snowman Cuttlebug Embossing Folder with words

I was so excited to have found this Cuttlebug Embossing folder when I purchased a couple of days ago at a Michaels store in my area. I put it into the machine and usually the image allows you to rub a stamp pad over the top of it, well this one does not. So I'm wondering if it is a mishap. I turned it over on a piece of scrap and the embossed words were backwards. So anyways, I wanted to make a card using some new paper I found at a LSS in Cape Coral, Fl. called "Scrapbook Goodies" It's owned by a mother and daughter team, and is a wonderful shop full of everything a scrapper could ever want. I asked them if they had ever had heard of this and they said no. So I just thought I'd share this information, have a great day.

coaster holiday brag book from Olive Garden

These are 3 3/4 in circles. * You could use chip board purchased from a print shop too. I did get some the other day for $ 7.00 for a stack of 100 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 not bad.* I Found the Gingerbread stickers in a dollar bin at Jo Ann's and stamped a white circle blue and green. The other coasters are green and red and I just inked the edges to cover the raw edge up. It really came out cute. Everyone I know loves these little books and wants me to show them how to put them together. They are so simple.

Coffee and Cards Thursday at Treasured Memories, Englewood, Florida, Come for the fun of it!

Treasure Memories Thursdays Coffee and Cards Class

Here are two holiday cards I made at Treasure Memories. The reindeer card was made from a two piece Sizzix die cut set and the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug Embossing folder. "Coffee and Cards is held every Thursday (unless a holiday should fall on it)" All the ladies who came loved this little guy. The gift package was the next popular card. I am off to make some of the gift package ones from some of the paper I received from Tracy at "The Craft Junkie Too". Thanks again Tracy... Love the paper!

Some stickers for Boy and Girl Coaster books for childcare providers

I wanted to show you some really cute foam stickers I found in Michaels for a class I'm teaching some childcare providers. Ifound them in a 1 $ bin but they rang up
.80 cents per pack. Even better! I hope the ladies in the class are going to like them!!!

I am on the hunt for the newest Holiday Cricut Cartridges. I am not sure why the stores in Southwest Florida region haven't received them. I really would love to get the Snowman one. Anyways, I drove to Ft. Myers for my friend Debbie S. today. She saw the blue suitcase bag I have for my Cuttlebug embossing folders and die cut plates,(I purchased my bag through Hallmark Scrapbook and she fell in love with it) so I purchased her one at the Super Jo-Anns there for her.

I found these holiday stickers in the 1 $ bin at Jo-Anns in Ft Myers

I found these in a dollar bin while I was looking the new Winter Cartridges. They are perfect size for the Coaster books.

Snow person Stamp cards

These snow people cards are from Great Impressions. It is a class I took at
"Just Scrappin" in Port Charlotte, Fl. The fellowship of the ladies who come makes my day. This collection is part of a stamp of the month class offered at Just Scrappin. There are so many classes offered, check out the link on the right side bar. It will take you right to the store, if you live or are visiting the area and want to see when you can get in some fun too. There is a new collection of cards in each set. You get a free stamp with the cost of the class, all the paper and embellies, and an additional 10% for any additional items purchased. Kerrabeth is the wonderful instructor for the stamp of the month group. Anyone who has taken her class has a great time with her and her wonderful husband Carl. He is the kind of guy who helps out with everything you can dream up. He even walks the store owners dog "Little Bits". We are able to take our time if we choose or like me I usually have to leave there by 2:30 so I start the basics there and finish once I get home because I need to make it back to meet my son off the school bus.

The day gets better when you learn something new

The day gets better when you learn something new
I had wanted to learn how to make the tri fold shutter cards for some time now after seeing them at my Local Scrapbook Shop, Treasured Memories, I took a little class how to! ( Thanks Mitzi for showing me this great card) I went home with the thought to sit and make more ( like 18 more) then got busy with the cubs it was after school pickup time and dinner, etc. Then my blog friend Mary posted her card up (A halloween one) and I said I need to make some to my DH. Here is the card I made, Mary at cardztv has made a great video with great directions to make them, Thanks Mary and Mitzi so much for the lessons!

Restaurant Coasters " Baby Boy Album" I taught my neighbor Susan how to make them

I love it when my neighbor Susan comes to play. I showed Susan my Halloween coaster book and she instantly loved the concept. On Friday she went hunting to some of our local restaurants for some coasters. We were able to get together Thursday to put it together in the morning then we had lunch at Panera Bread. On Friday morning I took cubs to schools then was out at another one of my friends, Sharon's home taking a lesson of how to manuver the DS. When I came home from my lesson I found a sack with coasters and little bows from Susan on my front door as a(Thank you) for showing her how to make the books. We had a blast. She showed her husband this book and he had asked her if she'd been to a "Baby Boutique", because of the attention to detail. He was quite impressed and asked her to make another one, so she's making a girl one tonight. I'll post pics another night.
